Another busy week!

It’s been a little crazy this week, I went to the gym on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Then on Wednesday night, Mark brought a hot Swedish girl back to the flat. So John and I went out to the Medicine bar in Angel and caught up for a while (we may live together, but rarely do we actually get a lot of time to chat alone), and Mark and the Swedish girl joined us soon afterwards and we all chatted till 1am. She showed me pictures of her boyfriend on her iPod video and he looked exactly like Mark, but with a tan. She was on her way to New York to see him for a week, and then on to LA for a holiday. Hmmm… London, New York and L.A. – It’s alright for some. Both her and her boyfriend do modelling work for people like Christian Dior, Vogue, Hugo Boss, etc, on the side - This is getting ridiculous.

Thursday night was the launch party for one of my websites, so the Project Manager, Art Director and myself were invited to a bar called The Gable in Moorgate. They were very nice people, good fun and raved about the work we did for them, which was great. I didn’t stay for long – well, it started at 6 and I left at 9, so three hours of Champagne and food isn’t bad. On my way out, in an effort to give the Art Director a tap on the shoulder to say goodbye, I almost knocked over a glass of wine on the table, but just managed to rescue it and said “Okay, bye!!”, with the Art Director laughing and shouting “Run Aidan, Run!”. Apparently the main guy I’d been talking to all night said “Now that was a cool exit!”

When I got home, my flat mates and a few friends were sitting on the balcony chatting and Lewis brought out a bottle of lizard vodka – by this I mean a bottle of vodka with two lizards in it. The other guys were saying “Last time we had some of that stuff with Lewis, we had the worst nightmares of our lives!” and I was suggesting we have some. After everyone else tried it, I said “You guys must be smoking some form of crack if you think I’m drinking that.”, but I did and it wasn’t terrible.

I don’t know whether it was the champagne or the vodka that did it, but I did have a hangover on Friday morning at work, but luckily it was a much more relaxed day and I’d finished my scheduled work for the week so was just helping everyone else out.

On Friday evening I had a private party to go to in Soho with the same Project Manager and Art Director and another Project Manager. It was set up by one of the music producers in our studios, it was the last of four events he’d done, and I’d agreed to go. Another great evening, small event, very chilled and nice, but to be honest I didn’t drink much and was glad to get home to my bed by the end of it.

Typically, I’m usually the first person in bed every night and the first person to wake up, so this week was a little different for me, but still a lot of fun.

Also: A huge congratulations to John for getting his IMBD profile up!

It’s so nice to read about your life again - you sound utterly rejuvinated and energised! A hectic week but with lots to look back on, despite the hangover, sounds like you have few regrets. :D Your exits are ALWAYS graceful, hahaha…!

As for being the first to sleep and wake up, I’d counter that was a logical method. ;) Now if you were the LAST to sleep but the first to wake up, then I’d be worried!!

Well, to be fair you take part in a lot of my life, but it’s good to write a blog again and keep some form of a diary going. :D

If it stays sunny today - we should go to a park.
