Merry Christmas 2006

The last week has been great - I had a Christmas lunch with my siblings, since we’re not all going to be together on Christmas Day. I spent most of that lunch doting over my niece, holding her and dancing to the cheesy 70s and Christmas music my brother was playing. I know I say it every time, but she is so adorable and well behaved.
I spent lunch time with my sister and my niece again on Wednesday; Christmas shopping and catching up in Sloane Square (Kensington) and then caught a late showing of Casino Royale again, with one of my Team; Chris. It was even better the second time around!

I spent Thursday night with my three brothers-in-law in a bar in Clapham; James, Will and Hal. We caught up - told embarrassing family Christmas stories and got mildly drunk, but unfortunately James had to do a presentation the next morning, so he couldn’t stay too late. I’ve never really had the opportunity to spent time with those three like that before, so it was good to see them all.
Merry Christmas everyone! I’m here in the West Midlands now, in a house in the middle of nowhere, with a superb 56k connection, and nothing but a country pub nearby.
If you take a look at the flash, the size, start time, transition time, x & y positions, movement, etc, of the sparkles, tree lights, angel flare, snow, etc, are all completely random - if you refresh the page, they will all be different - and if you look closely, you’ll notice the angel flapping it’s wings every once in a while too.

Awesome
I’m glad you’re spending time with family this time of year, Aidan, even if you’ve been spending time with them on seperate occasions. Sometimes that’s just the way it has to be!
The flash thing this time of year is fast becoming another Christmas tradition I look forward to - haha… now there’s something techie for me to dwell on over the next few days.
Thanks for keeping in touch this year. I look forward to reading more from you in 2007.
Merry Christmas, Aidan, and if I don’t get to jump in there before then - Happy New Year.

merry belated xmas aidan! it’s always more fun when you have family you love spending time with. i feel sorry for those people who dread it cause they’ve got to put up with their family. it’s so much more fun to drink with my brothers now rather than have them use me as a football in a game of catch.
oh ok, they weren’t THAT mean.

Haha - thanks Britt! Merry belated Xmas to you too!
And friendly banter is what siblings are for! Especially at Christmas time.

Oleg! Welcome back!
Thanks - some of the bits of the xmas animation were already created - I created the presents in front of the tree in vector art for a card a couple of years ago (if you right click and zoom in), the Angel I created for a Qee design I did a while ago. I just put it together on the Friday night before Christmas – I was finding it hard to sleep.
Spending New Years chilling at my flat with my flatmate John, Aya, Chorna and a few others.
It’s good to be lazy over Christmas – that’s the whole point – relax and over-eat!
