I’ve worked every day, including both days weekends for the last month, so I think I’m going to take at least one day this weekend to relax.
I had a great night out last night, after having a few drinks with colleagues and supposedly heading home, the new designer at work dragged me out to Covent Garden till 4am.
She took me to Maxwell’s to meet up with a load of her South African friends and then we went on to Roadhouse where the Kaiser Chiefs were playing! Excellent night, great band, great people, perhaps a little too much alcohol.
I saw ‘The Inconvenient Truth‘ with my flatmates last weekend and while I’m not exactly an environmental activist it really is one of the best films/documentaries I’ve seen this year. Al Gore does an incredible job of educating the audience in what’s happening in the environment, while mocking the incorrect ways society perceives the problems we’re having with climate change.
Whether you’re into the whole ‘climate crisis’ debate or not, it’s definitely worth seeing.

And a 4am end to the night sounds about right for a Friday/saturday bash.
Me thinks I’m going to have to begin writing more about my wild nights of thrill! (as soon as I start having them, of course…!)

You’ve most definitely both earned it and deserved it.
