So cute!

It’s such a beautiful experience to have a baby fall asleep in your arms… but maybe that’s the severely feminine side of me talking.

My sister handed my niece to me pretty much as soon as I entered the door and she immediately started crying… “It’s fine! Just move around a bit and she’ll be fine.”. So I started doing my hip hop thang and bouncing up and down and she soon calmed down and quickly fell asleep on my shoulder – the girl likes Snoop Dogg! Who knew! (Drop It Like It’s Hot was playing on TV)

She’s seven weeks old now; so beautiful and so cute… I got to see her smile for the first time today by looking at her, widening my eyes and smiling. So cute! I want one…

Aaanywaaay… I also saw The Prestige this weekend – Awesome film starring Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale – dark, disturbing and brilliant. Go see it!

Right now I’m watching Russel Peters: Outsourced on DVD. This Canadian comedian isn’t nearly as famous as he should be. He makes hilarious observations of all races and manages to (equally insult and) amuse everyone of any age from any background and any country.

Hello there, Handsome! I’m glad your enjoying getting to know your niece. I’ve spent so much time around babies and cousins with babies (and baby cousins….!!) that whenever I see a child I just turn into a pile of emotionally-high goo. It’s like babies bring out the utterly ridiculously happy-sweet side to me and I don’t even want to hide it.

Just watch - when she is about 9 - 12 months old you’ll start to realise just HOW QUICKLY babies grow up. The next 7 years are going to be sheer pleasure. :) I’m glad you’re relatively close to her - take every opportunity you can to dote on her!!

I saw The Prestige this weekend, too!! OMG, Hugh Jackman was AWESOME. The story is pretty intense and I did have to cover my eyes a few times. I’m definitely going to get that on DVD as soon as it comes out - it’s one of those movies you need to have in your collection, but you probably won’t watch very often unless you’re in a very intense mood. A bit like owning The Shawshank Redemption.

And Russell Peters is fantastic!!! You’re right - he needs to be more famous. He needs to come see us - personally - we’ll help promote him!!
