United Nations
I worked from home today on a new site we’re doing for the United Nations. I’m already in the middle of a few large projects, but I really wanted to work on this site, so I worked from home and managed to get it all done in one day! All valid and compliant.

My dad sent me a really nice card after we met a couple of weekends ago:
Aidan,
Congratulations on all you’ve already achieved.
Please take a break from time to time.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon – scheduled late September.
Much love.
Dad

The picture on the card is of the entrance to the Athenaeum, A private London gentleman’s club which he’s been a member of since before I was born.

That’s so sweet of your father.
I love buying blank cards with beautiful images on the front. I find they come in useful when you’re thinking of someone and want them to know.
Funny a private gentleman’s club should mention in your post this week! I was watching Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman only a few nights ago and the whole issue of a strictly-men-only club came up…!
Now how’s that for Popular Culture and High Culture coliding?!

Chorna – I do the same for any occasion – blank cards (with no message inside) with decent pictures are the only way to go.

Good to hear from you Britt!
