Web Design & Fun for the whole family!
These Taschen Icons Web Design books are fantastic! It’s a series of books on the best (according to editor Julius Wiedemann) websites for their genre. Some case studies, some related websites, a small piece of information about the company/creators of each website and some great pictures – it’s all you need!
I’ve seen a few of these types of books around – web indexes, etc – where you just have pictures of websites and titles – but these books are excellent and the best bit is that each of them only costs £5! Brilliant for inspiration and information.
“Julius Wiedemann was born and raised in Brazil and after studying graphic design and marketing he left the country to live in Japan for almost 4 years. After working in Tokyo as art editor for digital and design magazines, he joined TASCHEN as the editor in charge for the digital collection, working currently in the headquarters in Cologne.”
If you’re in London you can get them at Magma Books - highly recommended for any books/magazines on digital art, design, fashion, etc. Although the fourth book on e-commerce isn’t out yet.
Nathan, Luis, Chorna and myself had a great night in last night watching the whole of Family Guy series 4 on DVD. Another classic series – if you’re a fan, get it now!

Family Guy really is excellent - you failed to mention going to Camden Market yesterday!! That was cool - we have to go back.
Stevie, baby, how *you* doin’??
I’ve seen those books. It’s a really cool series - I wish they did more like that for other disciplines, such as anthropology.
Nice to see another update!

LOL I like how you write “The funny”. I always hear this squeaky little voice in my head, like some weird anime character - “the funny, har har har…”.
Of course, that could just be me, speaking it out loud.
Shut up.
